Leather Armour Design - For a Scout or Ranger

For a two week design project in university, this piece was the final result. I wanted to try and relate my work to character and prop design in gaming, however I also aimed for this piece to be a good design for actual leather armour, taking into account practicality and protection balanced to mobility and comfort.

I researched a lot into leather armour makers, and learned a lot about the resources required to actually build a piece like this in reality. I was thinking the design could be also used by Live Action Role Players (LARP).
